Biokovo Nature Park is one of the 12 nature parks in the Republic of Croatia and includes the Biokovo mountain massif of the same name. It was declared a nature park in 1981, with an area of 195.5 km2. The park is administratively located in the Split-Dalmatia County and includes the municipalities of Brela, Baška Voda, Makarska, Tučepi, Podgora, Zagvozd, Zadvarje and Šestanovac. The highest peak of the park, Sveti Jure, at 1,762 meters above sea level, is also the highest peak of Mount Biokovo and the third-highest peak in Croatia.
