Dubrovnik and its area include the southernmost part of the Republic of Croatia and its province of Dalmatia, from Neum in the west to Sutorina and Ponta Oštra in the east. On the northern side, this area borders the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and on the eastern side with the Republic of Montenegro. Under a mild Mediterranean climate, even in the middle of winter, Dubrovnik is bathed in a sea of sun. There are more than 250 sunny days a year, with an average annual temperature of 17°C. Warm southern climate, airy blue sky, emerald green and deep blue crystal clear sea depths at the marginal touch of rocky shores spill over numerous coves and coves, over sandy beaches and steep cliffs decorated with the most exuberant clothes of the Mediterranean and subtropics flora. Dubrovnik stands out among other domestic tourist spots because it is the most famous Croatian tourist center. The monumental city walls from the 16th century with five fortresses, almost two kilometers long, remain the symbol and biggest attraction of Dubrovnik to this day, and the entire old city center has been on the UNESCO-protected cultural heritage list since 1979.
