After meeting your guide at the designated meeting point (cruise port pick-up available upon request), we’ll begin with a walking tour through the 1,700-year-old Diocletian’s Palace — the living heart of Split. As we stroll through its ancient cellars, narrow streets, and lively squares, you’ll discover hidden corners, fascinating legends, and everyday life within the palace walls.
To escape the heat and cover more ground, we’ll then hop into a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to explore beyond the Old Town. Our first stop is Bačvice Beach, a beloved local spot and birthplace of the traditional game picigin.
Then we’ll move toward Gripe Fortress, offering a unique view over Split. We’ll then pass by the iconic Poljud Stadium, home of Hajduk Split, before reaching the breathtaking Vidilica viewpoint on Marjan Hill for panoramic views of Split and the surrounding islands.
The drive continues to he peaceful green area of Sustipan, along the scenic West Coast promenade (Zapadna Obala), and finishes at the charming Prokurative Square, inspired by Venetian architecture.
For cruise guests, optional drop-off at the cruise port is available at the end of the tour.
